The Louth Urban Food Sanctuary (LUFS) is thrilled to announce its upcoming event on November 19th, held in partnership with Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) and its renowned Culinary School in the School of Hospitality. This event will bring together local food producers, culinary students, and the grower’s community to showcase the rich diversity of locally sourced ingredients and sustainable food practices from across Louth.

Local food producers will showcase their produce, and attendees will have the opportunity to meet these producers while learning about the benefits of using locally grown and sourced ingredients.

In addition to the showcase stalls, culinary students from DkIT’s School of Hospitality will provide a selection of tasters from recipes which they have specially developed for LUFS. Each recipe celebrates the synergy between produce grown by the LUFS community and local artisan ingredients, offering a taste of how sustainability and flavour can thrive together.

The event will not only highlight the local food scene but also the importance of community-driven sustainability efforts that mitigate climate change and support biodiversity.

Join us at DkIT on November 19th at our Louth Feast to explore, taste, and celebrate Louth’s local food producers and culinary talent.
